Tecoluta Carcass
Here's what I found:
<a bit sensationalist for such an old a fuzzy b/w picture>
Thirty five tons of something big and dead was found on the beach in Tecoluta, Mexico in March, 1969....
A seven-man commission of scientists reported on April 20, 1969 that the monster was a rorqual whale, known as the finback whale, however, that particular explanation fell short of explaining the 1 ton horn and body armor. Not only that, the first group of biologists who thoroughly examined it with the idea that it might be a whale concluded that again; it did not match any sea creature known to man.
The creature was reaching a length of 89 feet. The body is long and covered in hard armour. The tail is bilobate like a whale’s. The color is black and white striped. The head has a tusk on the end that weighs about one ton. The mouth has 1 1/2” teeth in the mouth.
There have been no sightings of this type, it is known only from at least 2 carcasses, one of which washed up in Tecoluta, Mexico in 1969 and the other in The Gulf of Fonesca, San Salvador in 1928. In the Tecoluta case, despite the tusk, a group of scientists said it was... a fin whale, which it most certainly was not.
This creature appears to be a reptile, due to its scales, although it may be a fish.

it had weight and organic mass... it was just shapeless in its out-of-the-water state
